we went for our usual sunday morning run along the riverside, over the bridge and back down the other side, along the trail-like path. it had stopped raining quite early on and as i'd demanded a lie-in we didn't go out for a run until about 10.30, so it wasn't too cold.
we've been doing reps of two minutes running, two minutes walking, repeat 5 times for the past, um, however long since i started. say two months. but today i was able, on the second running rep, to keep going for 3 minutes. and i took a go off my inhaler before starting the third rep but didn't feel i particularly needed it, it was just to be on the safe side. i usually find i need it. so that was good, too. then boo proclaimed i'd run faster than usual, too. recovery rate once we'd stopped running was much faster, too, so all in all a marked, tangible improvement. yay!
though of course the nike+ kit decided it didn't want to record the run so i have no stats :( you'll just have to take my word for it.
