life with booyaa

well, we finally got round to upgrading to movable type 3 point something.

it took a while as the upgrade (tested first so it didn't mess up my real blog) blitzed my stylesheet. it took me aaaages to write that. i was not best pleased. anyway. i've kind of given up, since it's been two months in the upgrading and i have a backlog of posts on my palm pilot, and here you have it with an off-the-shelf css. i will tweak it. none of that underlined hyperlinks nonsense, oh no. but it's not too far away from how it looked before so at least i don't have to do a complete rewrite. it's not showing the calendar or my creative commons button. don't know what's going on there. hmmm.

also an improvement is the moderate comments option, so comments will be open again with an automatic spam catcher. comments will be moderated at first but people i know will eventually make their way onto the trusted commenters list and won't have to wait a day to see if i've accepted their words.

so, some tweaking involved, but expect a flurry of new entries over the next week, as we catch up somewhat.
