christmas cake

the 'perch household have finally started on the christmas cake that mum made and sent to them in november. i think they were very good waiting to open it until christmas. wertie said he bought some chess-hire cheese (no wensleydale to be had in davis, ca.) to go with it and they are both enjoying it immensely. go granny pam!

photo nicked off wertie's gallery - which is worth checking out; grundy made some rather superb stripy socks and wertie models one with great panache :)
